We believe in a simple philosophy of creating a comfortable and engaging learning environment for students that make them want to attend school, so Alfeen is always a “Home Away From Home”.
We make learning Interesting, Engaging and Motivating at ALFEEN
Alfeen aims at making school a “joyful place” for students where they can share knowledge, new experiences and deeply engage in Art Integrated, Problem Solving activities to develop intellect from the very childhood. We also integrate a structured sports program from Pre-primary to Grade XII, which upholds the objectives of HPE initiatives of CBSE. It impacts children in multiple ways and children develop fitness through fun. In addition to the health and fitness benefits, there are several physiological and psychological benefits to a child.
Keeping the concept of Experiential learning and remodelled assessment suggested by the board, all academic activities are planned and executed meticulously by the various departments of APS. There were monthly iconic activities along with the normal experiential sessions happening in the classrooms.
The Health and Physical education (HPE) curriculum initiated by CBSE is regarded to be an all-encompassing health-dimensional title, which was truly embraced by Alfeen by conducting multiple activities which suits the interest of our students. Alfeen ensures that children are first and foremost ‘‘physically educated”, hence a strong, clear and comprehensive physical education curriculum is followed from play class to class XII.
We believe in a simple philosophy of creating a comfortable and engaging learning environment for students that make them want to attend school, so Alfeen is always a “Home Away From Home”.
Rote learning cannot prepare our children to face this world. This world requires children who are inquisitive, fearless and flexible enough to bend and adapt to the changing conditions that are imposed upon them. We offer a curriculum, which emphasizes Experiential learning and creates opportunities for children to observe, explore, analyze and conclude thus making them independent learners.
Experiential learning became a part of the curriculum with role plays, seminars, model making sessions, art integration etc. Hands-on experience gave them a lot of opportunities to think critically, analyse and apply.
