The amazing magic of mud! On the 28th of June, Little Alfeen celebrated International Mud Day. It was a pleasure to watch both teachers and children squelching around in mud and having the time of their lives! Yes, Mud is delightfully messy! But it’s more than just fun too. Getting down dirty and squishing around in nature’s very own play-dough is far more beneficial than many people think. The physical, psychological and emotional benefits for children are well proven. Mud, the perfect learning material! The smiles on the little ones muddy faces says it all!
